Too many bearded dragons are kept in inadequately sized enclosures, and one big reason is that enclosures are expensive!
We created this enclosure because we believe that beardie owners should have an economical housing option for their pet. Our PVC Panel Reptile Enclosure is perfect for many reptiles including bearded dragons, blue tongue skinks, small monitor lizards, ball pythons, leopard geckos, and more.īuying an enclosure is an important investment for your pet's wellbeing. If you intend on stacking your enclosures and adding more than 25lbs to the inside of the enclosures, you will also need to add a support bar. Our 1" Stacker/Spacer is now available to stack multiple enclosures (up to 4 high). You can spray the substrate but do not dump water directly into it. You will need to use silicone to seal the bottom. To increase humidity in the enclosure, you can purchase a 1/8” or 3/16” sheet of acrylic or PVC from your local hardware store to set on top of the screen. We will soon offer glass doors as an upgrade. If this is a problem for you, we recommend replacing the acrylic with glass doors from a local glass shop. In addition, acrylic does scratch, so if you are using this enclosure for a reptile with nails the doors will scratch over time. If you are using the enclosure for a snake or a high humidity species, we suggest using glass doors instead of acrylic. When assembling, be sure to put the top on the correct way with the double track in the front. When assembling, be sure to put the acrylic substrate panel in before using the mallet to put the front together. If you add a lot of weight to the enclosure, make sure you support the bottom when moving it.
However, we are working on a new material that can withstand well over 1000 degrees. Most screen tops have this same issue, as we use the same material as most manufacturers. At this time we do not suggest using any of these bulbs within 2 inches of the screen. Our screen has been tested at high temperatures, but we have reason to believe that some bulbs when placed too close to the screen create such extreme heat concentrated in one area that it can create a scorch mark. We have recently become aware of a potential issue when using Halogen/Flood bulbs on our screen top.
